Overview

The Worthington Scholarship is a generous renewable scholarship that benefits graduates of three Knox County high schools: Oceanside, Camden Hills and Medomak Valley. The award amount is $4,000/year, renewable for up to four years depending on a student's high school GPA. Students are restricted to in-state public institutions, and lower net cost private institutions, that have demonstrated a commitment to student success. Please see the eligibility guidelines for your high school to determine which colleges you are eligible to attend on the scholarship.

The Worthington Scholarship Foundation assists students in selecting an affordable college choice, minimizing student debt, and achieving a 2 or 4-year degree. Foundation staff provide mentoring to students starting in high school and continue this relationship throughout students’ college careers to avoid any potential barriers to receiving a degree. Programming and events are meant to connect students with each other, staff, and community resources and partners. Personalized career development assistance is provided throughout a student's college experience. The Worthington Scholarship Foundation is committed to the success of every Worthington Scholar and takes pride in assisting every Scholar in the pursuit of their goals.
