Worthington scholarships are awarded annually to graduates of partner high schools who plan to enroll full-time at one of our partner colleges or universities (see list below). Scholarships are awarded based on merit and financial need and are renewable up to eight semesters (dependent on program enrollment and eligibility criteria). Applications for the Worthington scholarship are to be completed from the link on our website when it goes live in January. Check back here for more updates.
4-Year College Path Scholarship Details
  •     Scholarships valued up to $16,500 over 8 semesters of eligibility
  •     Applicant must:
    • be enrolled as a full-time student
    • have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $15,000 or less.
    • meet GPA requirements 3.0 or higher from a partner high school

2-Year Community College Path Scholarship Details
  • Scholarships valued up to $6,000 total for the first two years at a partner community college.
  • If a student chooses to go beyond the two years at a college or university from our partner schools, they are eligible for an additional two years of support up to $8,000.
  • A student who is enrolled in a 3-year program (example: nursing), they would get a total of $10,000 in support. If that student chooses to go onto an additional year for their Bachelor’s degree, they would get another $4,000 in support.
  • Applicant must:
    • High School GPA 2.2+ from a partner school
    • be enrolled as a full-time student
    • have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $15,000 or less.

How to Apply 
  1. File FAFSA: Must have an EFC (Expected Family Contribution) of $15,000 or less
  2. Apply & be accepted to an eligible in-state college or university in our network
  3. Follow the steps online to apply for our scholarship
  4. Enroll in an eligible in-state college or university in our network
  5. You will be notified via email if you’ve been selected for a scholarship
  6. Meet our ongoing semester-by-semester eligibility requirements
