Are you interested in paid work giving you experience in your field of study? The Worthington Foundation has an internship program we have created for our scholars.

We’re working with a number of employers* who are looking for smart, hard-working summer employees.

Here’s how it works:

WE – contact potential employers and seek their interest in Worthington scholar interns.

YOU – fill out the summer internship form and return it to us.

WE – send your application to the internship opportunities whose positions match your areas of interest.

EMPLOYERS – contact you directly if interested in your candidacy.  You then will interview and negotiate the terms directly with the employer.

It’s not too early to begin to apply.  Employers want to be able to plan and you want reliable employment that helps you prepare for that first post-graduate job. Many interns from prior years are returning again this year. And…best of all…some of our graduates have been hired by the companies where they interned!

*Employers include the Samoset Resort, Owls Head Transportion Museum, Penobscot Bay YMCA, and many more.
